Myserk on Celtic Music Lab
On this episode of Celtic Music Lab, we go back to an interview we had with Myserk at the Milwaukee Irish Fest. The band currently features Asher Gray, Brett Lipshutz, Randy Gosa, and VI∂ar Skrede. We got a chance to sit down and talk with them about past, present, and future projects. Then, we found out about the history of the Celtic music scene in Wisconsin and the influence that Milwaukee Irish Fest has had on players from the area. The band draws from Irish, Breton, traditional French influences and with the addition of VI∂ar, Norwegian traditional music as well. We feature two tracks from their album Fifty/Fifty, and a bonus track!

Myserk balances an interest in the unconventional with a deep respect for the time-honored forms on which their music is based.
